Wellness with Her: The 5-Year Vision for a Thriving Women’s Wellness Movement

This TikTok comment immensely warmed my heart and had our whole team “awwwing” because we felt seen and recognized for the journey we are on. The context was highlighting how more women-centered spaces are cropping up, and while one user asked for the same in Uganda, another responded saying:

“There is a women’s only wellness centre in Uganda. It has a gym, a spa, massage centre, holds dance classes. Have never seen women so happy. It’s literal heaven…. Check out Wellness With Her Club.”

This comment was a reflection of the vision we are actively working towards—a space where women can feel safe, empowered, nurtured, and connected. It was also a reminder that we are just at the beginning of our journey. As we celebrate our growth, we also set our sights on the next five years of building something even greater.

The Next 5 Years: Growing Wellness With Her

1. Expanding Our Physical Presence: The Wellness With Her Centre(s)

One of our most ambitious goals is to establish dedicated Wellness With Her Centres which will be permanent spaces that fully embody our mission. These centres will be a one-stop sanctuary for women, housing:
✅ A fully equipped gym designed with women’s health in mind.
✅ A dance studio where our signature Wato movement workshops like Cardio & Whine and Slow Whine come to life.
✅ A spa & relaxation space offering massages, body treatments, and holistic self-care experiences.
✅ A wellness café serving nourishing, organic meals and drinks that promote balanced nutrition.
✅ Private rooms for mental wellness coaching, therapy, and healing sessions.

These will not just be fitness spaces but community hubs where women work out, unwind, connect, and transform their lives together.

A wellness centre is a dedicated space that offers a holistic approach to health and well-being, focusing on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals. Unlike traditional gyms or spas, a wellness centre integrates various healing and self-care practices to promote a balanced lifestyle.

Key Features of a Wellness Centre:

Physical Wellness – Includes fitness facilities, movement studios, yoga, and personal training.
Mental & Emotional Wellness – Offers therapy, mindfulness sessions, and stress management programs.
Holistic Healing – Provides massage therapy, spa treatments, and alternative therapies like acupuncture or aromatherapy.
Nutritional Support – Features healthy food options, dietary coaching, and wellness cafés.
Community & Education – Organises workshops, mentorship programs, and wellness retreats.

A women-focused wellness centre, like Wellness With Her, goes further by creating a safe, nurturing environment where women can focus on self-care, movement, and personal growth without societal pressures.

2. Expanding Our Digital & Media Presence

We understand that wellness isn’t limited by physical spaces. Many women across Uganda and East Africa may not be able to attend in person, but they still deserve access to our programs. Over the next five years, we plan to:
📲 Launch a Wellness With Her App featuring on-demand workout classes, guided meditation, nutrition plans, and wellness coaching.
📺 Secure TV partnerships to bring our movement-based programs to a wider audience.
🎥 Enhance our online content with more YouTube series, virtual classes, and social media engagement that makes wellness accessible.

This step will ensure that wherever a woman is whether in Kampala, Gulu, Nairobi, or beyond, can still be part of the movement.

3. Strengthening Community Engagement & Impact

At the heart of Wellness With Her is sisterhood and support. Over the next five years, we will expand our outreach initiatives through:
👩🏾‍🤝‍👩🏿 Mentorship Programs – Connecting young women with experienced coaches to guide them through personal development.
🏫 Wellness in Schools – Introducing movement, mental health awareness, and self-care workshops to young girls in schools.
📍 Pop-up Wellness Retreats – Hosting special weekend retreats in different cities and nature-based locations.

By extending our impact, we ensure that women of all backgrounds—regardless of age or financial status—can benefit from wellness.

4. Building Strategic Partnerships

To make this vision a reality, we will build partnerships with like-minded brands, organisations, and stakeholders who believe in empowering women’s wellness. Our strategy includes:
🤝 Corporate Wellness Partnerships – Working with companies to introduce movement and wellness sessions into their workspaces for women employees.
🏥 Healthcare & Wellness Collaborations – Partnering with hospitals, psychologists, and fitness experts to create holistic wellness programs.
💡 Brand Collaborations – Working with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands to curate experiences that merge wellness and self-care.

Through these partnerships, we will reach more women and solidify our place as Uganda’s premier women’s wellness brand.

5. Sustainability & Longevity: Wellness as a Lifestyle

Wellness is not a short-term goal; it’s a lifelong journey. Over the next five years, we will focus on sustainability by:
🌍 Incorporating Eco-Friendly Practices – From sustainable gym equipment to natural skincare in our spa, we aim to prioritise environmentally conscious wellness.
📚 Launching a Wellness With Her Center of Learning – Training new movement coaches and wellness experts to keep the community growing.
🔄 Encouraging a Wellness Culture Shift – Through advocacy, awareness campaigns, and storytelling, we want wellness to become a natural, celebrated part of everyday life for Ugandan women.

A Future Where Every Woman Feels Well & Whole

This TikTok comment was just one example of the love and recognition that fuels us. It showed us that women are craving spaces of joy, movement, and healing—and we are here to provide, expand, and grow that vision.

In five years, we see Wellness With Her as more than a club. We see a movement. A lifestyle. A legacy.

To every woman who has walked this journey with us, this vision is for you. We are building something for the long run, and we cannot wait to see it unfold.

💚 Be well, be you.
