At the G4G Summit 2025, held at the Kampala Sheraton, attendees were treated to an unforgettable experience of movement, mindfulness, and feminine energy through the Wato Movement Workshop, led by the Wellness With Her Club founder and lead coach, Rianne Lelia Bateeze.
The workshop, hosted under the theme of embodiment and leadership, reminded participants that wellness and confidence are not just mental practices but also deeply physical experiences. Through rhythm, breathwork, and guided flow, Rianne took the women on a journey of self-awareness, inviting them to reconnect with their bodies and find alignment between mind, movement, and purpose.
The session quickly became one of the most engaging highlights of the summit. Laughter, energy, and unity filled the room as women from diverse professional and personal backgrounds moved in sync; letting go of stiffness and stress and stepping into a shared rhythm of strength and self-expression. Many participants later shared how empowering it felt to “flow together,” describing it as both grounding and liberating.
For the Girls for Girls (G4G) community, the workshop represented more than just a wellness break; it was a reflection of the summit’s broader mission; to nurture well-rounded, self-aware women leaders who embody balance, presence, and purpose in everything they do.
Speaking after the session, Rianne emphasized the importance of movement as a leadership tool:
“When women move together, they connect to their power, their peace, and each other. The body holds stories that words sometimes cannot; movement helps us release, heal, and lead from a fuller place.”
The Wato Movement Workshop continues to gain recognition as a transformative wellness experience that integrates African-inspired rhythm and mindfulness, helping women embrace leadership from the inside out. Its presence at the G4G Summit marked a defining moment of joy, reflection, and community; a reminder that leadership begins with being in tune with oneself.
