Memo No. 010: Minimum

Memo No. 010: Minimum

Why do I do it this to myself?

So as a dancer and content creator, it’s been wild. Having big dreams and plans for yourself and the platforms you’re on is one thing but like someone said, “The dream is free but the hustle is sold separately.” “talk is cheap,…” uh_ I don’t remember how to finish this one. When I started the #HigherSelf Challenge, it looked like it was going to be sunshine and daisies and yellow mellow days, but omdss. It’s just day 2 and I’ve realized, positivity and it’s energy is a commitment. Most people choose to be negative because it’s really easy to slip into. It’s easy to complain about how “unfair” life is instead of actively going after what you want to change. It’s easy to sit and wallow in self pity instead of making choices to change the situation. Most of the days when we’re down and low, and it isn’t hormones or the stars, it’s merely us choosing to be lazy and going down the least energetic route, the negativity path. The positivity highway is the only way. Truly and honestly. All wealth and happiness stems from knowing and accepting that the situation is getting better and always turns out in the best ways. If you’re not dead, it’s not the end.

Stop it.
