And sadly, I think some go their whole lives without making the choice. The way we are raised says a lot about our love style, attachment styles and generally subconscious and conscious opinions about relationships and love. the most disappointing feature of human beings is we don’t come with a 30 second trailer so one see what one is getting entangled into. Or maybe a little thought bubble that pops up right above our heads when we lie so we see it straight up.

Being a female, who initially, society had dictated for that I am naturally emotional, overly hormonal and my decisions are highly inaccurate because of my major lack of discernment, the males I let into my life greatly reflected that.

I don’t remember the man that broke my ‘innocence’, and it wasn’t the fairytale most books and movies played out to be. The ones that followed after, only a few do I think about fondly. Others, no memory comes to mind because all parts of me decided that it’s best that the memories lie dead and forgotten.

Getting entangled with the opposite gender especially at a young age feels like a good idea in the moment but let me share with you how over the years it turns into uterine abuse and or misuse, tears that look and feel like crocodile tears, heartbreaks that slowly turn a sweet-heart into stone, unnecessary and unwarranted trust issues, plain disrespect and a weekly dash of laying up at night wondering why you let yourself cry over certain “questionable creatures” The baby girl my father raised me to be deserved none of that.

But we were all created in God’s image and are the same so this probably doesn’t matter much. x

“These men don’t deserve you.” Every queen and bad bitch has heard this at least once, and in truth, they don’t. To be turned into a “dumping ground”, an emotional treadmill, a physical attraction site put there to be the pleasure of the kale gaze. My ancestors didn’t migrate for us to do them like this.

Stand up

Sister, stand up.
Stand up for yourself.
Stand up for the generations of women that came before you.
Stand up for the generations that are coming after you 
For when you sit down or slouch, you take the great women that came before us, many steps back,
And the ones that come ahead, not a great start. 

The world is in the state it is in because of the choices we have made over the years. The tech movement, the political systems, the social trends; all these defined and set in mental stone by Homo sapiens. This also includes the way males and females interact in society. It’s come to a point, that most women walk around feeling like they have a target on their back. we wake up and pray to God, thanking our Lord for life, health and wealth then beg the All Knowing to keep us safe and protected while we navigate this gift called life.

Paranoid? PTSD? Mental attitude? The only reason;

However some devils do. Well, I guess it goes both ways because I’m sure there’s men with awful experiences thanks to females. Love and light, you can start your own rant blog.
